To celebrate the International Day of Peace, the Haskell and Wanaque Schools planted Pinwheels of Peace! We join others to promote peace in our world and our communities!
In teaching students about Kindness, Ms. DuHaime and Ms. Sullivan's 3rd grade students participated in the "Toothpaste Challenge"!
Students learned that our words and actions are like toothpaste - once we "squish" them out there, it is very hard to put them back into the tube. Our best choice is to use kind words with everyone!

The Wanaque Public Library is hosting a Library Card Sign-Up Open House for Kids on Saturday, September 9th from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Start your child's love of reading by signing them up for a library card and introducing them to the great books and resources the Wanaque Public Library has to offer!
Welcome back Warriors! We had a very successful start to our school year at both of our schools! A lot of smiling faces and loads of excitement! All are safe, happy, and ready to learn. Off to another great start with the Wanaque Borough Public Schools!
The Wanaque Board of Education Regular Meeting scheduled for July 18, 2023, has been canceled. The next meeting will be held on August 22, 2023, at 7:00 pm in the Haskell Elementary School Gymnasium, Haskell, NJ 07420.
During the summer, be sure to cultivate a habit of reading. Choose books that interest you and explore different genres to broaden your perspective. Reading not only enhances your language skills but also nurtures creativity and critical thinking.
