Reminders:
- The next Board of Education Meeting is scheduled for this Tuesday June 15, 2021 at 7:00 PM in the Wanaque School Gymnasium. This meeting will be in-person only.
- Schedules for the Virtual students have not changed. The Virtual students should follow their typical schedule.
- Kindly check the list of symptoms noted on the Daily Checklist and please keep your child home if indicated. Please remember that it only takes a few independent active Covid-19 positive tests to close a school for in-person instruction for up to 14 calendar days. Thank you for your cooperation.
The Cohort Schedule for VIRTUAL STUDENTS ONLY this week is noted below:
- Tuesday, June 15, 2021 - Cohort B In-Person, Cohort A Virtual.
- Wednesday, June 16, 2021 - Cohort A & B Core Instruction
- Thursday, June 17, 2021- Cohort A In-Person, Cohort B Virtual
- Friday, June 18, 2021- Cohort B In-Person, Cohort A Virtual
ATTENDANCE
- For in-person students, if a student is not attending school, please call the attendance line.
- For virtual students, PARENTS ARE RESPONSBILE FOR THEIR CHILD’S ATTENDANCE THROUGH PARENT PORTAL BY 10:30AM. (This is the case for 100% virtual only students.)
- Log onto Parent Portal through Realtime using your child’s credentials. fridayparentportal.com/wanaque
Kindergarten Registration
This is just a reminder that Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2021-22 school year. If you have not yet done so, please visit our website at www.wanaqueps.org and click on the announcement for Kindergarten Registration. Use the link provided to complete an online pre-registration form. Once complete, a Wanaque District staff member will reach out to schedule an in-person appointment to verify age and residency.

Recordatorios:
- La próxima reunión de la Junta Directiva de Educación está programada para este martes 15 de junio de 2021 a las 7:00 PM en el Gimnasio de la Escuela Wanaque. Esta reunión será solo en persona.
- Los horarios de los estudiantes virtuales no han cambiado. Los estudiantes virtuales deben seguir su horario habitual.
- Favor de revisar la lista de síntomas anotados en la Lista de Verificación Diaria y por favor mantenga a su hijo en casa si está indicado. Recuerde que solo se necesitan unas pocas pruebas positivas de Covid-19 activas independientes para cerrar una escuela y recibir instrucción en persona hasta por 14 días calendario. Gracias por su cooperación.
El horario de cohorte para ESTUDIANTES VIRTUALES SOLAMENTE esta semana se indica a continuación:
- Martes, 15 de junio de 2021 - Cohorte B en persona, Cohorte A virtual.
- Miércoles 16 de junio de 2021 - Instrucción básica de cohorte A y B
- Jueves, 17 de junio de 2021- Cohorte A en persona, Cohorte B virtual
- Viernes, 18 de junio de 2021- Cohorte B en persona, Cohorte A virtual
ASISTENCIA
- Para estudiantes en persona, si un estudiante no asiste a la escuela, por favor llame a la línea de asistencia.
- Para los estudiantes virtuales, LOS PADRES SON RESPONSABLES DE LA ASISTENCIA DE SUS HIJOS A TRAVÉS DEL PORTAL PARA PADRES A LAS 10:30 AM. (Este es el caso de los estudiantes 100% virtuales únicamente).

Registro de jardín infantil
Esto es solo un recordatorio de que la inscripción al jardín infantil ya está abierta para el año escolar 2021-22. Si aún no lo ha hecho, visite nuestro sitio web en www.wanaqueps.org y haga clic en el anuncio de inscripción al jardín infantil. Utilice el enlace proporcionado para completar un formulario de preinscripción en línea. Una vez completado, un miembro del personal del distrito de Wanaque se comunicará para programar una cita en persona para verificar la edad y la residencia.
