Welcome to the Haskell Health Corner!
My name is Eileen Pricken and I am the Haskell School Nurse. For those of you that don’t know me, I understand that speaking to a stranger, especially about medical concerns, can feel very awkward. So, let me tell you a little about myself so I will no longer be a stranger. I am a mom of 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys that all went to Haskell School. I have been a Girl Scout Leader, a Cub Scout Leader, a PTA member, and a class mom more times than I can remember. I am also a School Certified Registered Nurse with both school and hospital experience.Throughout my career, I have worked with students ranging in age from kindergarten through high school, those with diverse multicultural needs, and those with special needs due to disabilities or chronic health conditions. I always strive to provide support, guidance, and reassurance to students, letting them know that they have all that they need within themselves to be healthy, happy and successful.
I understand how stressful school, and life in general, can be. Please know that my door is always open for both you and your child. I firmly believe that communication between home and school truly benefits the child. I try to make the nurse's office a place of comfort, and make every student feel that they are important.
Thank you for trusting me with the care of your child here at school.
Sincerely,Medical Forms:
